Next Chapter: Age-Friendly Bronx Resource Fair: An Afternoon of Fun and Educational Activities Especially Designed for Those 60 and Over

Event Details

1 p.m.: A screening of the recent award-winning documentary, Age of Champions, which follows five competitors who sprint, leap, and swim for gold at the National Senior Olympics.

2 p.m.: Speakers from NYC-ARTS will discuss creativity in the second half of life: how you can nurture it easily, for little or no money, and why you should! You will receive a list of free and discounted museums and galleries.

2:30: Author and computer guru Abby Stokes speaks having fun, doing good, and staying organized online. She will also speak about e-readers and how they work.

3:30-5 p.m. Come play in the Technology Sandbox! There will be e-readers like the Kindle and the Nook, and tablets like the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy for you to try. Plus, try your hand at some Nintendo Wii games and sports!

This event is free, and no registration is required. Come join us for a fun and educational time!
