Benefit Events

Show your support for The New York Public Library by attending or sponsoring one of our remarkable benefit events!

Events offer a unique way to experience the Library: host a table of clients at our black tie Library Lions gala or bring your family to our fun and fantastic Family Benefit. Contributions to events are tax-deductible (excluding goods and services provided) and all proceeds ensure that we continue to advance The New York Public Library's mission of providing essential, free services to New Yorkers and the world at large. 

Library Lions

Celebrating arts, letters, and scholarship, Library Lions is The New York Public Library’s largest annual event and one of the most anticipated evenings on New York City’s cultural calendar.

Spring Dinner for Education

Schomburg Center 90th Anniversary Celebration

In recognition of the Schomburg Center’s 90th year, The New York Public Library will host an evening in celebration of the Schomburg's rich historyand in support of our ambitious plans for the future. 

LPA 50th Anniversary Celebration

To mark The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' 50th year, The New York Public Library will host a gala evening at the landmark Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
