The Bronx Library Center wants to reinvigorate its third floor terrace and create a space that combats the heat island effect in the Bronx and create an engaging community space for you.

We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas before these changes happen about what you would like the space to look like and what programs we should consider having! Your participation in this survey would be appreciated.

About Bronx Library Center

Interior of BLC

The Bronx Library Center is the largest public library in the Bronx, with extensive collections of print and non-print materials for adults, young adults, and children. The fully renovated Bronx Library Center designed by Dattner Architects opened its doors to the public on January 17, 2006. This $50 million dollar, state-of-the-art, 78,000 square-foot center is NYPL's first green library, and was presented with the LEED Silver Certification Award in 2007 by the U.S. Green Building Council.
