For May's selection, we're discussing Carmen & Grace by Melissa Coss Aquino.  This event will be VIRTUAL. Registration for each session will open one week prior to the event at 9:00AM and events are limited to 20 participants.

Camrne and Grace is Coss-Aquino's debut novel about the titular cousins who are tight growing up and lean on each other when their traumatic family lives overwhelm. When Grace is taken in by the enigmatic Dona Durka, who wants to "save" Grace for her son until she is of age, things start changing.

Books & Banter operates a bit differently than your average book club: we read a few chapters and meet Thursdays at 4PM to discuss what we've read so far. No Spoilers! With less pressure to finish the book, you can read it at a slower pace.
