Pre-Release Film Screening of "The Danish Girl" with Q&A

Join us for a complimentary screening of "The Danish Girl," exclusively for Young Lions. The film chronicles the real-life story of transgender pioneer artist Lili Elbe (Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne) and her marriage to fellow artist Gerda Wegener (Alicia Vikander). Directed by Academy Award winner Tom Hooper, the film is based on a novel of the same name, which was nominated for the Young Lions Fiction Award in 2001. Following the film screening, writer David Ebershoff will join Young Lions for a special Q&A.
