Richard Ravitch has been the lieutenant governor of New York State and co-chair with Paul Volcker, of the task force, of the state budget crisis.  He has also been the chairman of numerous companies/organizations including the New York State Urban Development Corporation, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and Bowery Savings.  So Much To Do: A Life of Business, Politics and Confronting Fiscal Crisis is Mr. Ravitch’s first published work.
