The Diller-Quaile String Quartet: Classical Access Family Concert

January 18, 2012

Program Locations:

For ages 5 to 12 years

Presented by the Diller-Quaile String Quartet, the Classical Access Family concert introduces school age children (and their parents) to works of the string quartet literature as well as the instruments that make up the group: Violin, viola, and cello. After a short "mini-concert," quartet members engage the children in the discovery of their own musical sensibilities by leading and involving them in singing and rhythmic games, and exploring imagery suggested by the music. The session concludes with a final “mini concert.”
