Spring 2011 VIP Reception - Celebrating 100 Years
May 12, 2011
Program Locations:
Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Gottesman Exhibition Hall
What do Charlotte Brontë's writing desk, Andy Warhol's Flash, and Ernest Hemingway's handwritten Nobel Prize acceptance speech have in common? They're all in Celebrating 100 years, which commemorates the Centennial of the Stephen A. Schwarzman building. The exhibition features more than 200 items from NYPL's collection and offers insights into the ways in which curators and staff have boldly collected throughout the Library's history.
Invitations, which admit two, will be mailed at the end of March. Event will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
For more information please call the Friends Office at 212.930.0653.
