- Loving wife and mother, doting grandmother, born-again Christian - Blanche Taylor Moore was the model of respectable Southern womanhood. When her husband, the Reverend Dwight Moore, was stricken by a violent, wasting, mysterious disease, the community admired the way she cared for him.
