Summary
The film traces the origins of the earliest sources of knowledge and science in India. 'Shunya' or 'Zero', as the film points out, is the greatest contribution by the ancient Indian mathematicians to the concept on which all the modern scientific study is based. Thousands of years ago, the sages and scientists of India explored the realms of earth, fire, water, air and space. The Upanishads and the Puranas recorded the advanced sciences of herbal medicine, metallurgy, farming and yoga. Indians were known to be pioneers in astronomy, mathematics and architecture; the age old monuments spread all over the country that provides evidence to the architectural marvel. 'Shunya' or 'Zero' is the greatest contribution by the ancient Indian mathematicians to the world, which forms the basis of modern scientific study.
