Focus on the destruction of the Morosco and Helen Hayes theatres to make room for the Portman Hotel and the struggle of the leadership of the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew to remove the landmark status of the church. Issues include the rejuvenation of the Times Square theater district and whether the landmark status of certain religious structures constitutes a violation of the First Amendment.
