- Summary
- "This program illustrates the notable political paradigms that have emerged around the world, caused by ideological shifts and hopes for a better future. In Mexico, these ideals led to a model peasant rebellion. In Russia and China, democratic insurrections were displaced by communist counter-revolutions. In Germany, ongoing unrest opened the door to fascism. In Turkey and Iran, cultural revolutions embraced the European way of life, while in Japan Western ideals were accepted but later rejected. These revolutions were the catalyst that transformed the sociopolitical landscape of the 20th century."--Container.
