Many health professions are listed including nursing, dentistry, physical therapy, veterinary medicine and many others. The website is maintained by the New York State Office of the Professions.
  • Listing of hospice facilities in New York State certified under article 40 of the Public Health Law. A link to the Hospice Utilization and Cost Data Report is also provided. The information is compiled by the New York State Department of Health.

Once a licensee list has been retrieved, users will find more detailed information, such as if there has been recent disciplinary action against a veterinarian, by clicking on the licensee number to the left of the veterinarian's name. Since 1891, the Board of Regents and the New York State Education Department have overseen the preparation, licensure, and practice of the professions.
