Gao Yunxiang: The Life and Career of Soo Yong

Scholar Gao Yunxiang will discuss her biography-in-progress of actor Soo Yong, who played small but significant parts in major Hollywood productions and shared the screen with many film legends throughout her career. Gao’s exploration of Yong’s life reenvisions what multilingual and transnational Asian and Asian-American history can be.
