Science Industry and Business Library [SIBL]

SIBL uses advanced technology to provide businesses with up-to-date information. Visitors to the Library can use its computers to access online business databases and the internet. Wired and wireless internet access is available. SIBL's Electronic Information Center offers hands-on, instructional classes on using the Library's licensed databases. SIBL maintains a full schedule of evening seminars and workshops on business topics. SIBL also sponsors an annual Business Plan Competition. Information about this competition is available at SIBL's Small Business home page. SIBL houses a SCORE office whose experienced business executives offer free advice on how to start and run a small business. Call 212-592-7033 to make an appointment. Note: There are other SCORE offices throughout the City. Search the Services Locator for additional locations in the 5 boroughs. Pace University's Small Business Development Center [SBDC] provides FREE advisory services twice a month at the Library. Call 212-618-6655 to schedule an appointment.
