  • The doom of the incorrigible sinner : selected in part from a sermon of the late Reverend Samuel Davies, now illustrated in the death of Joseph Thompson Hare, one of the mail robbers, who was executed, together with John Alexander, of Baltimore, on the tenth of September, 1818, for the robbery of the United States' mail, near Havre-de-Grace, on the night of the eleventh of March, last : detailing a series of robberies in the different states of the Union, and in the British and Spanish provinces, to the amount of nearly one hundred thousand dollars.
