- Editorial Mandrágora rescued in facsimile editions the 3 first cooking books that were printed in Chile (in 1851, 1865 and 1872) considered bibliographical treasures of Chilean gastronomy. The book "The Chilean Confíteor" was one of the first cooking manuals published in Chile. Published in 1872 in Valparaiso for the Chilean elite, this is a testimony of the "sweet table of the second half of the 19th century, reminding us of the delicious sweets eaten by our grandparents, in a language as sweet as the candies it proposes, with the poetry of the kitchen."
