There have been many ups and downs in the last century and many of them are in this book. Photographs cannot show language and feelings easily but it is evident that over the last 100 years, there has been an attempt made by the people of Sturgeon to protect and respect the rights of both the French and the English. It has not all been hearts and flowers, there have been sparks and deep hurt but this is part of life, part of growing as individuals and as a community" --
