Summary
That this collection has been assembled without fanfare--simply by suggestion to better-printed writers, though none of international reputation--indicates discrepancies between achievements and recognition accorded other types of creativity in the U.S.A. Most [of] these poets remain little-published abroad; and even at home have limited aufiences. Yet, the older have established influences and gained followings among your writers; and every one has evolved his own technique and idiom. All utilize major themes, and not impossibly may eventually be appraised as major, not minor, voices.-pg. 4.
