Bunny Modern is the strange saga of Clare and Soda, as told by Dylan, an investigator who's fallen in love with Clare while looking into a connection between Soda's parents and the disappearance of electricity years earlier.
First admiring Clare from afar and then joining her in a series of adventures on Manhattan's gaslit streets, Dylan unfolds a tale in which Lit Wear (Melville trousers, Jane Eyre blouses), carrier pigeons, fertility monuments, a drug called Vengeance, and the Jersey Bounce Dance Studio all figure with mysterious coherence.
