- Summary
- A history of theories and white fantasies surrounding Great Zimbabwe and the Swahili coast, with comments by Peter Garlake, Stanlake Samkange, Michael Horton, and Ali A. Mazrui. Actors portray: white adventurers and archaeologists; Great Zimbabwe priests, kings, and commoners; and, Swahili rulers and foreign traders. There are also several re-enactments of rituals and dances performed at Great Zimbabwe. The film ends with some reflections on the "Lost City" resort in modern South Africa.
