- Summary
- Irene Gandy, longtime theatrical publicist and producer, discusses her career with interviewer Voza Rivers. Having worked in the 1960s as a dancer, then as a performer in children's theater, Gandy became press agent for the Negro Ensemble Company. Eventually, she became a producer. Gandy talks about colleagues, and younger professionals she has mentored. She also fields questions posed by members of the audience.
