Summary

1. Panel discussion on the experiences of working actors. Panelists discuss how they trained to become actors, how they got their current roles, how they approach auditions, and related topics. Ullmann talks about her experiences in the Broadway production of Ibsen's Ghosts, and about working with Ingmar Bergman in films. Fierstein talks about the rigors of acting in his semi-autobiographical play Torch song trilogy. Price discusses working with Athol Fugard on his autobiographical play Master Harold and the boys, while Akers examines the challenge of moving from cabaret work to performing in the book musical Nine. Panelists also take questions from members of the audience.
