  1. This manuscript was made for Blanche of Burgundy (1295-1326).
  2. On ff. 1-6v, calendar in French. This section was added at the turn of the 14th to the 15th century to a complex psalter and prayerbook, produced before 1321 (death of Philip, son of Blanche of Burgundy).
  3. On ff. 31-179, psalter; on ff. 180-424: prayers in Latin and in French, litanies, gospel readings, psalter of St. Jerome, penitential psalms, instructions for piety, suffrages and, ff. 229-245, Hours of the Passion, and, ff. 245-258, Hours of St. Louis.
  4. Layout: Written in 20 lines per page in two columns, ruled in black ink.
  5. Decoration: 31 historiated initials in the entire codex (Delisle's list misses ff. 65 and 339). 1-line blue and gold initials with penwork. 2-line blue and red initials on gold, blue and red fields. 3-line and larger gold initials on red and blue fields.
  6. Script: Gothic.
  7. Pencil foliation followed in this description begins in upper right corners and ends in lower right corners of rectos; foliations is incorrect, going only to 423, because of duplication of number "243."
