  1. Layout: Written in 40 lines per page in two columns, ruled in very light black ink. Prickmarks visible.
  2. Decoration: 57 tinted drawings and historiated initials. Historiated initials on gold fields. Some initials never inserted, although space had been left for them and the guideletter written into the space in a tiny cursive hand.
  3. Paper description: Crossed keys similar to Briquet 3887.
  4. Scribe: Heinricus Wolff of Bamberg.
  5. Script: Gothic cursive.
  6. Dated by scribe, 1464, August 24.
  7. The Spencer manuscript's ff. 1-2 and 12 should correctly be ff. 228-229 and 242 of the Berlin manuscript.
