  3. Label on initial leaf: "171 pages measuring 8 3/4" x 6 3/4", bound in full vellum with 'Contess of Caledon' stamped on cover in gold. Eight selections from four operas by Giacchino Rossini, great Italian composer; six vocal duets, one with accompaniment of small orchestra (violins, viola, cello, flutes, clarinets and horsn), the others with piano; one vocal quartett 'a canone' and one vocal solo, all written in the clear contemporary hand. Probably done specially for the Countess of Caledon."
  4. Amor possente nome in full score; the remaining numbers are arranged with piano accompaniment.
