Biography (note)
  1. Miriam Bokser Caravella worked as a freelance photojournalist during the 1960s and 1970s, including with the left-leaning Liberation News Service based in New York City. In 1980, she became a career Foreign Service Officer with the United States Information Agency based in Washington, D.C. She later published the book "The Holy Name: Mysticism in Judaism" in 1989.
