Summary
Benefit performance featuring songs, dances, and comedy sketches. Performers from Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals compete to create the most original Easter Bonnet, with the results presented at the conclusion of each act. The proceeds from the event go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Unable to attend in person, Beatrice Arthur is represented by an audio recording, created especially for this show, which is played during the performance. The cast of the musical Sweet smell of success perform "That's how I say goodbye," a number cut from the show before it came to Broadway.
Local Note
