Summary

Panel discussion focused on the working life of actors. Panelists discuss how they got their starts in the profession, the advantages of working on stage in New York as opposed to working in film or television in Los Angeles, the difficulties of memorization, and related topics. Veteran actor Pat Hingle talks about appearing as Benjamin Franklin in the stage show 1776, his first musical role in a career of almost five decades. Robert Cuccioli describes how he plays the two disparate title characters in Jekyll & Hyde. Pamela Isaacs and Chuck Cooper, who both appear in Cy Coleman's musical The life, talk about the show. Panelists also take questions from the audience.
