1. Composer Frank Wildhorn, lyricist Jack Murphy, and the production team of their musical The Civil War discuss the show, which recently opened on Broadway. Wildhorn describes the project's genesis and its development. Producers Cossette and Zieger talk about the project's financial challenges, and explain how shows are more likely to recoup their production costs touring the country than on Broadway.
