Summary
Panel discussion devoted to the current Broadway production of La cage aux folles, a musical adaptation of the French play of the same name. The show's director, composer, librettist, primary producer, and publicity team discuss how the show came about, the difficulties they faced raising production funds from backers, problems during the preview period, and the show's subsequent success. Production costs and tickets prices are also discussed. In the final segment of the program the panelists take questions from the audience.
