A short extract from an interview with former Prime Minister, A.N.R. Robinson, conducted in Trinidad is broadcast after Nettleford's address.
  • Eric Eustace Williams served as the first Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago. He was also a noted Caribbean historian. The conference on Eric Williams examines his life and his place in the history of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean. The scholars address such topics as national policy, the labor movement, party politics, scholarship, economic development, the Chaguaramas dispute, and more.
