  1. Talent agent Lionel Larner discusses his work with interviewer Pia Lindstrom. After clarifying the differences between a talent agent, a literary agent, and a casting director, Larner describes the sort of tasks he handles for his clients and the negotiations agents must learn to conduct. He illustrates his points with examples from his career. One anecdote involves his client Nicol Williamson, who was notoriously temperamental. Larner also talks about the education required for the job, and the general knowledge that is useful in his line of work.
