1. Lisa Poyer, longtime company manager for Broadway productions, discusses her job with interviewer Pia Lindstrom. She explains the difference between a production's company manager and its general manager, and lists some of the many tasks that fall to the company manager to perform, which might include distributing paychecks, negotiating contracts, verifying the number of tickets sold for each performance, arranging complimentary tickets for guests, and even planning cast parties.
