1. The scrapbook contains many photographs taken (on the set) during the shooting of the film Becky Sharp (1935) showing the performers and various production personnel including the director, Rouben Mamoulian, producer, Kenneth Macgowan, cinematographer, Ray Rennahan, designer, Robert Edmond Jones, executives from Pioneer Pictures, Merian C. Cooper and John Hay Whitney, and visiting British producer, Michael Balcon.
2. Adapted from the play by Langdon Mitchell which was based on the novel "Vanity Fair" by William Makepeace Thackeray.
3. Even though Becky Sharp was released in 1935, many of the publicity photographs bear an imprinted copyright date of 1934.
4. Includes several photographs of the costume designs of Robert Edmond Jones and of the set designs of associate art director W.B. Ihnen (Wiard B. "Bill" Ihnen).
5. One photograph features the actress, Marlene Dietrich, visiting the set of Becky Sharp and pictured with the director, Rouben Mamoulian.
