Note
  1. The original printed score of the Bachianas no. 5 is for an accompaniment of eight violoncelli, but Villa-Lobos wished to augment this by adding four more celli at certain places and two double basses to the lowest melodic line. In this performance we have followed his wishes.
  2. Originally released on LP in April 1965 (LM/LSC-2795).
