Summary
A sampling of musical talent from Harlem in the 1940s is featured in this collection of vintage "soundies," films which were shown in jukebox machines called Panoramas. Over 2000 of these films were made between 1941 and 1947, presenting many of the most popular recording artists of the day. Features stars such as Nat "King" Cole, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, and Dorothy Dandridge.
