- · To Davies Giddy, scientific administrator and applied mathematician : 1 letter signed : 1 October 1811 : (MISC 4472) : 2 ¹/₄ pages (double sheet) : from Bradfield : signed by Young, the body of the letter probably in the hand of a secretary; begins, "I am much obliged to you for the favour of introducing me to so well inform'd & agreeable a man as Mr. Guillemard . . . ." Providing a list of six questions, in yet another hand, on page one of the letter sheet, on subjects relating to agriculture (e.g., "What were the prices per lb. of Beef, Mutton, Veal, Pork, Bacon, Butter, Cheese, and Potates per bushel, on an average, during the year 1810 . . .?").
