Summary
For her carefully choreographed video productions Anne Sauser-Hall collaborates with actors, whom she gives strict instructions and who have to practice and reproduce every gesture and movement with great precision. Inspired partly by French artist Edouard Manet, an early Impressionist, the scenes and images are recreated in video form. Kleist's famous essay 'On the Marionette Theater' is one of Sauser-Hall's key literary inspirations and sources. She is exhibiting together with Judith Albert in Kunstmuseum Solothurn. Exhibition: Kunstmuseum Solothurn, Switzerland (27.01.-08.04.2018).
