Summary
  1. Documentary on the life and career of stage director, critic, and author Harold Clurman. Includes excerpts from interviews with Clurman and several of his friends and associates, as well as a lecture Clurman delivered on theater to a college class. Also includes a sequence in which Clurman directs actors Richard Dysart and Joan Hackett in a scene from Ibsen's The lady from the sea.
