- Summary
- This videotape consists of television segments devoted to Jason Robert Brown's stage musical Parade, which is based on the true story of Leo Frank, convicted of murder in 1913 and lynched in 1915 for a crime many observers believe he did not commit. Performance excerpts from the show are included, along with interviews with persons involved with the show, including librettist Alfred Uhry and director Harold Prince. The facts of the Frank case are discussed. Prince also discusses the current legal difficulties of producer Garth Drabinksy.
