  1. Thirty six programs (1923 - 1943) for Saint Joan by Bernard Shaw in England and the United States, including amateur, college, university, regional, and touring productions. Of note are performances by Winifred Lenihan; Sybil Thorndike; Julia Arthur; Alice Baxter-Mitchell in a production by the Morning Dramaticale; Irma Mangold in a production by The Little Theatre of Dallas; Katharine Cornell; Wendy Hiller; Elena Miranova.
  2. A number of the programs include Shaw's "Note by the Author."
  3. Item 1, a program for the Theatre Guild's original production starring Winifred Lenihan, is stamped: "Office Alice Kauser 152 West 42nd Street New York City"
  4. Item 32 is a program for Erwin Piscator's 1940 production at the Shubert-Belasco Theatre (Washington, D.C.) starring Luise Rainer, a benefit for European War Relief under the auspices of the American Red Cross.
