- Note
- Programs (1928 - 1940) for Marco millions by Eugene O'Neill documenting the Theatre Guild's original production on Broadway, tours, and subsequent revivals, including college and university productions. Of note is Gilmor Brown's production for the Pasadena Playhouse with Robert Young as Marco Polo; Michael Macowan's production for the London Mask Theatre Company; and Arthur E. Wyman's production for the University of Hawaii Theatre Guild with Spark ("Masayuki") Matsunaga as the Honorable Reader, a unique example for its day of appropriate casting of Asian actors in Asian roles when convention demanded white actors in yellowface make-up.
