Programs (1811 - 1939) for Coriolanus by William Shakespeare documenting performances by a range of actors from the early 19th to the early 20th Century, mainly in England with some in the United States, including a number of late-career appearances at Covent Garden by John Philip Kemble and final appearances by Sarah Siddons; Edmund Kean; William Charles Macready; Thomas Sowerby Hamblin in Thomas Sheridan's adaptation; Tommaso Salvini and Viola Allen; Henry Irving and Ellen Terry; two productions at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre Stratford-Upon-Avon, including the Tercentenary Commemoration organized by F.R. Benson; The Federal Theatre Project; The Abbey Theatre.
  2. A number of the programs belong to the Stead Collection.
  3. Item 14, a program from the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, May 18, 1814, is mounted on silk.
