- Programs (1924 - 1943) for Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, mainly in the United States with some in England, the bulk representing performances by Katharine Cornell and Basil Rathbone in Guthrie McClintic's production (NY). This lot of several dozen playbills and programs also documents performances by the Ben Greet Players (Leeds); John Gielgud's production starring himself and Peggy Ashcroft (London); the industrial designer Russel Wright's production at Theatre Intime (Princeton University); Laurence Olivier's production starring himself and Vivien Leigh; an all-woman cast at a girl's school (Monks Risborough, England); a number of regional, college, and university productions.
