Summary
Discusses the life and work of Dr. William Carlos Williams, poet and Pulitzer Prize winner. Presents selected readings from letters, poems, and the autobiography of the poet, accompanied by scenes which illustrate the readings. Includes scenes of his son, also a physician, as he performs his daily tasks at home, at his office (which had formerly been used by his father), and in the hospital.
