- NYPL copy differs from Hasse's description: copy described by Hasse in entry 216 lacks "An ordinance for regulating & establishing fees" (20 pages at end; described separately in Hasse 176); title page of copy described by Hasse differs typographically: imprint of NYPL copy broken after Excellent rather than New-.
- The New-York Historical Society reports that "The various descriptions of this item seem to suggest the existence of no fewer than two states, and possibly four."
- "An ordinance for regulating & establishing fees. By His Excellency Robert Hunter, Esq. capt. general and governour in chief in and over the provinces of New-York, New Jersey, and of all the territories and tracts of land depending thereon in America, and vice-admiral of the same, &c. in council, this 19th day of October, in the ninth year of Her Majesty's reign, annoq[ue] Domini 1710": 20 pages at end. Signed at end: Geo. Clarke, Ro. Hunter. Not present in all copies and described separately in some bibliographies. According to Hasse, this (Hasse 176) is the 4th issue, with line breaks in the caption title after "An," "ordinance," "for," "fees," Excellency," "Governour," "New-," "land," "the," "the," "1710."
