Summary
Handbill printed at the private press of Davies Gilbert. Describes a scene in which Dr. Thomas Beddoes pins to the bandeau of his dance partner, Mary James, some ribbons from the Continent "then deemed emblems of Liberty." Includes a 16-line verse by Beddoes which celebrates "Freedom's Garland," followed by a 12-line anonymous verse, "circulated some time afterwards," attacking Beddoes' sympathies.
