- Summary
- Sewn notebook containing fourteen manuscript pieces, chiefly poems copied from known eighteenth-century English writers, in unidentified divers hands. Three poems are by "W. H., aged 15," and are apparently unpublished. There is a light pencil sketch of a lady sleeping beneath a tree on the verso of leaf 1, and a few small sketches of faces are on the recto of leaf 20. The front cover bears an oval-bordered woodcut scene (10 x 15 cm) titled "Farm Yard"; the covers are printers' waste, the inside being part of a form for registering freeholders.
