- Part 1. Leida Snow interviews Brian Auger, English jazz and rock keyboardist, who talks about his musical career that he started by playing the Hammond organ; about The Steampacket, the first musical group that he formed along with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll, Vic Briggs and Rod Stewart in 1965; about Oblivion Express that he formed in 1970 shortly after abandoning the abortive "Wassenaar arrangement," jazz-fusion commune in a small suburb of The Hague; his new 1978 album Encore for which he reunited with Julie Tippetts (born Julie Driscoll). Excerpts from his musical works are played during the program.
